C300 ETCO2 Module(Sidestream)

C300 ETCO2 Module(Sidestream)

This external sidestream ETCO2 module is designed to delivery similar performance to other high-end sidestream ETCO2 modules such as MicroStream_ (Oridion) module and LoFlo_ (Respironics/Philips) sensor.

Specifically, it does not require a water trap and it samples gas at a low rate (i.e., 50 mL /minute). It is ideally suited for use on all patients; from adult, pediatric to neonatal patients, in a variety of clinical settings such as emergency medical service, procedural sedation and ventilation monitoring of intubated patients.

The Model C300 ETCO2 module is completely self-contained and does not need to take up any space in the host device (e.g., patient monitor, mechanical ventilator and anesthesia machine). Other advanced features incorporated in the C300 module are listed as follows:

n         An onboard barometric chip further enhances sensor performance by avoiding erroneous ETCO2 reading caused by data entry error.

n         Automatic zero eliminates need for user intervention to manually remove the sensor from the breathing circuit.

n         It is designed to recover from unintentional moisture ingress without requesting for factory service.

n         It is readily configured to be fully compatible with existing external ETCO2 modules in the market to minimize development effort in integration.
